Eco-responsibility charter

Solar panels, Rainwater harvesting, LED lighting

Regarding the infrastructures, the roof is entirely covered with solar panels that cover the electricity needs necessary for the operation of the studio. This electricity is sold to EDF and bought by Provence Studios at a lower cost. 28,000 panels/3.2 MW peak (in a city of 2500 inhabitants). The device produces more electricity than it consumes.

Outside, tanks allow rainwater to be collected (service water/allows you to water the plants, make a tank if water is needed for operation). Sorting bins have also been installed. A bin for DIB (ordinary industrial waste), a bin for scrap metal and a bin for wood.

Inside, all the lights are LED lights. In the construction part of the decorations, large windows on the roof allow you to work in natural light and limit energy consumption. In the shooting part of the studio, a wind tunnel was installed. It allows hot air to be expelled in a natural way and to keep a temperature around 20 degrees despite the heat released by the projectors.

In the HMC boxes, the mirrors are LED mirrors with several color temperatures in addition, which allows the actor to be put on makeup according to the installation of the electronic chef on set.

Reuse of decorations

Provence Studios developed Provence Décors to recover set elements at the end of a shooting and to re-offer them to future productions. Items that are not reusable or not highly coveted are redistributed in associations such as Emmaus.
